Salish Sea Stewards 2017: Registration Open
This ten-week volunteer training program is offered by the Skagit Marine Resources Committee in conjunction with the Coastal Volunteer Partnership at Padilla Bay. The Salish Sea Stewards training course includes 40 hours of classroom style presentations, lectures, and hands on learning. Participants also register for an additional 10 hours of field-based hands on training for various citizen science projects that pique their interests. Participants commit to volunteering 50 hours on local citizen science and environmental projects and outreach events.

Location: Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve
