Citizen Science

The Coastal Volunteer Partnership at Padilla Bay directly engages in citizen science initiatives with various project partners and scientists throughout Skagit county and the Salish Sea. Volunteers get their boots in the mud and spend time on our local shorelines collecting data and helping our partners gather imperative information. Volunteers can expect an annual training to be offered on each of the projects we support, but the most effective learning happens on the job. There are roles and responsibilities for all levels and abilities, just sign up and get in on the fun today!

Make sure to check our calendar for upcoming trainings and enroll in our spring Salish Sea Stewards volunteer training program!
